Enhanced Browsing Experience with History in Threads
History in Threads is a Firefox extension designed to improve the way users navigate their browsing history. The program features a revamped user interface compared to its previous version and allows users to select a time range for their history searches, including options like 'Today', 'Yesterday', and 'This Month'. Search terms are applied dynamically when the time range is adjusted, making it easier to find specific threads. The extension orders thread roots by the most recent visits, providing a clear view of browsing activity.
Despite the improvements, some features from the earlier version have been lost, such as the ability to expand all threads simultaneously and the option to override Firefox's built-in history sidebar hotkeys. Users must manually refresh the view to see new visits while it is open, which can be a slight inconvenience. Additionally, the extension integrates with other add-ons like Clear History by Threads, allowing for more refined history management.
